DOUGHERTY VALLEY HS: A 2012 graduate of Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, Calif. • Was a four-year varsity letterwinner for head coach Brian Freitas • Was a two-time Diablo Foothill Athletic League first team selection (2011 & 2012), and won the league batting title as a junior • After hitting .418 as a senior with 12 runs scored, 21 RBIs and.490 on-base percentage was named second team all-East Bay • Was also an all-league tight end for the football program.
